I grew up in Sudbury, MA and have lived in Burlington, VT, Florence, Italy, and for the past many years in Berkeley, CA and San Francisco.

My work has varied greatly and assignments have included: : President Barack Obama: (@ A LinkedIn “Town Hall” w/ The San Francisco Giants @ The White House, w/ Mark Zuckerberg at Facebook HQ), Michelle Obama, Sir Richard Branson, Bill Gates, The Dalai Lama, Anthony Bourdain, The SF 49rs, Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom, Howard Dean, and Jack Black. My performance photography has appeared on many musicians’ websites and other publications include Madonna, Lada Gaga, Fergi and The Black Eyed Peas, Paul Simon, Joan Baez (Huff Post), Santana, Weird Al (Huffington Post) , Roger Waters Wall Tour, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Aziz Ansari, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Muse, MGMT, Al Green, Matisyahu, Elvis Costello, David Crosby, MIA, Graham Nash, The Dead, Pomplamoose - (gallery), Sharon Jones, Jackson Brown, Beck , Primus and many others. In February 2012 I had the honor of touring doing photography for 4 shows with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Joan Baez and Marianne Aya Omac. And then 2 more show in November 2012 with Joan Baez. One of the photos from the tour was in the Huffington Post. I have tested gear in a festival environment for Lowepro, one of the largest and best photography bag/storage companies.

 

My photograph of Grammy Nominated Matisyahu was selected to be part of the NY Photo Festival 2011 Audio-Visual exhibit by a jury including the Art Director of Spin Magazine and the Director of Marketing for The Metropolitan Opera. In 2011 I started being hired as a Live Nation Special Events house photographer for The Fillmore and Masonic Auditorium San Francisco.

 

I have covered varying stories including notable winery owners for the Metro Silicon Valley, photographing the viral video hit band Pomplamoose at their home, Yelp.com founders at HQ, and many more.

 I have been a professional photographer since 2002. Although my primary field of work is photojournalism, I have also worked in numerous other genres, including, portraits, performance, and nature photography, I have also done still photography for the National Geographic Channel.
